Brandon Paul inks deal with Buducnost
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica has announced the signing of Brandon Paul on a one-year deal. Paul (1.93 meters, 32 years old) suited up for ratiopharm Ulm last season, averaging 11.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11 BKT EuroCup games after joining the team midway through the campaign. With Ulm, Paul became a German League champion, while he was also named to the All-German League Second Team. Buducnost is the fourth team he will play for in the EuroCup.
Paul began his professional career with Nizhny Novgorod, where he posted 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12 EuroCup appearances in the 2013-14 season. Later, the American guard suited up for Anadolu Efes Istanbul (2016-17) and Olympiacos Piraeus (2019-20) in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, averaging 8.6 points in each of those two seasons. Paul returned to the EuroCup in 2021-22 with Joventut Badalona, posting 8.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 12 games. He has also played for the Canton Charge and the Austin Spurs in the G League, the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls and the Shandong Hi-Speed Kirin in China, and the Adelaide 36ers in Australia.
