Veolia Hamburg Towers has confirmed that captain Seth Hinrichs has extended his contract at the club for a further two years, so he is now tied to the club until 2024. Hinrichs (2.01 meters, 29 years old) played in 17 7DAYS EuroCup matches for Hamburg last season, averaging 5.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals.

Hinrichs is entering his third season in the EuroCup, having also played for ratiopharm Ulm in the competition during the 2019-20 campaign. That season, he recorded averages of 6.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists. After spending four years at Lafayette College, he began his professional career with FC Porto of Portugal in 2015. Since then, he has gone on to play for VfL Kirchheim Knights and SC Rasta Vechta of Germany, as well as Ulm, Manresa Basquet of Spain and, since the summer of 2021, Hamburg.
