Sehmus Hazer heads to Bahcesehir
Bahcesehir College Istanbul has completed the signing of Sehmus Hazer on a one-year deal.
Hazer (1.93 meters, 25 years old) joins the club from fellow Turkish side Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, where he had played for the last three years. He made 48 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague over that period, although just six last season.
The Turkish guard started his career with Bandirma, where he played between 2017 and 2020, before heading to Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul for the 2020-21 campaign. Then, having starred in the Turkish League with Besiktas by averaging 14.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 33 games, he opted to join Fenerbahce in the summer of 2021.
While Hazer had a minimal role for Fenerbahce in the EuroLeague last season, he did put up decent numbers domestically, posting 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 39 Turkish League games.
Next season will see Hazer make his BKT EuroCup debut.
