The shooting guard will play a second season with the Polish club
Trefl Sopot, Aaron Best stay together
Polish champion Trefl Sopot announced on Thursday that it has come to terms with shooting guard Aaron Best on a deal to keep him with the club for a second season. Best (1.93 meters, 31 years old) averaged 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 45 Polish League games last season to help Sopot to the crown.
Best returns to the EuroCup after helping the London Lions reach the eighthfinals the season before. He averaged 7.4 points in 18 EuroCup games in 2022-23. A native of Canada, Best began his professional career with Juventus in Lithuania and has also played for Raptors 905 in the G-League, PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece, Boulazac in France, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany and the Hamilton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League
