Dolomiti Energia Trento has announced the arrival of Denis Badalau on a four-year deal.
Badalau (2.02 meters, 18 years old) joins from EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where he had not made his first-team debut.
The Romanian forward did, however, catch the eye of many during the Adidas Next Generation Tournament, posting 16.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.7 steals in three games at the ANGT Finals in Berlin, Germany.
Badalau also had big numbers at the ANGT Belgrade in 2023-24, averaging 21.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals in four games as Milan reached the final.
At Trento, Badalau will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of several young players who have joined the Italian side and gone on to reach their potential.
