Dolomiti Energia Trento announced on Monday that Quinn Ellis has suffered a broken bone in his foot that will sideline him for at least two months. Ellis, 20, fractured the fifth metatarsal on his right foot during an Italian League game against fellow BKT EuroCup side Umana Reyer Venice on Saturday. He will undergo surgery, after which a final timetable for his return will be established.
Ellis has averaged 8.9 points and 3.8 assists for a PIR of 11.2 in 16 EuroCup games this season, including 10 as a starter. He is one of the top candidates to win this season’s EuroCup Rising Star Trophy.
