He arrives from Umana Reyer Venice
Turk Telekom adds guard Max Heidegger
Turk Telekom Ankara added experience and firepower by inking playmaker Max Heidegger, the club announced Saturday.
Heidegger (1.91 meters, 27 years old) arrive from Umana Reyer Venice, where he averaged 12.2 points on 52.4% three-pointers and 2.2 assists in four BKT EuroCup games last season. He started the 2023-24 campaign with Windy city of the G League, averaging 12.9 points and 3.6 assists in 10 games. Heidegger started his professional basketball career with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, and also played for another Israeli team, Bnei Hertzeliya, before joining German side EWE Baskets Oldenburg. He also played for Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket of Turkiye and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 assists in 17 Spanish League games in the 2022-23 season. Heidegger has also been a member of the Israeli national team.
