Turk Telekom Ankara 84-93 Besiktas GAIN Istanbul
Besiktas claimed an 84-93 road win over Turk Telekom at Ankara Sports Hall in the Group B Turkish derby to improve to 6-2. Besiktas kept its advantage throughout the night, using its three-point efficiency and deep rotation to stay in control. Turk Telekom struggled to find solutions defensively against Besiktas’s offensive rhythm, seeing its five-game winning streak come to an end and dropping to 5-3.
Devon Dotson led Besiktas with 20 points and 4 assists, followed by Jonah Matthews with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Brynton Lemar added 15 points and Ismael Kamagate contributed 10 points and 7 rebounds. For Turk Telekom, Kyle Alexander posted 15 points and 7 rebounds, Jaleen Smith paired 15 points with 7 assists, Jordan Usher scored 13 points with 6 rebounds, and Dogus Ozdemiroglu and Kris Bankston chipped in 10 points each.
Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens 72-79 Lietkabelis Panevezys
Lietkabelis Panevezys ended its six-game losing slide by defeating Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens 72-79 at National Athletic Center Glyfada Makis Liougas on Wednesday evening. A low-scoring first quarter saw the visitors take a lead which they maintained for the majority of the game, with Jamel Morris scoring 16 of his team’s 24 points in the fourth to finish it off. Having suffered its seventh straight loss, Panionios dropped to 1-7. Meanwhile, Lietkabelis celebrated its first road victory, improving its record to 2-6.
Morris paced his team with 16 points and Kristian Kullamae netted 14, with Augustine Rubit pairing his 12 points with 8 rebounds. Panionios guard Stedmon Lemon led all scorers with 20 points and Matt Lewis bagged 16 in a losing effort.
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana 93-73 Veolia Towers Hamburg
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana pulled into a three-way tie for first place in Group A with a comfortable 93-73 home victory over Veolia Towers Hamburg with the visitors still looking for their first win of the season. Cedevita went on a 12-1 run to take a 41-24 lead in the second quarter. Hamburg only managed to get within 10 points the rest of the way and it was no closer than 12 points in the second half.
Cedevita won its third straight game for a 6-2 mark, pulling even with Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem and Bahcesehir College Istanbul. DJ Stewart poured in 17 points and 4 assists for the winners and Thomas Kennedy had 14 points and 10 rebounds. New signing Devon Daniels paced Hamburg with 19 points and 5 assists but the German side dropped to 0-8.
Umana Reyer Venice 97-93 BAXI Manresa
Reyer bounced back from its painful road loss at Ljubljana by beating visiting Manresa 97-93 at Palasport Taliercio on Wednesday night. The home team built a 54-45 advantage after 20 minutes behind 17 first-half points by Kyle Wiltjer, and extended it to double-digits, 83-72, early in the fourth quarter. A strong reaction led by Alfonso Plummer and Grant Golden in the last quarter sent the game to the line entering the last minute, but a basket off an offensive rebound by Jordan Parks and a couple of free throws by RJ Cole sealed the outcome for the hosts.
Reyer improved its record to 4-4, while Manresa dropped to 3-5 after suffering its fourth straight loss, including three straight in which it's allowed 97 or more points. Kyle Wiltjer paced Reyer with season-high 20 points, RJ Cole followed with 14 points, Leonardo Candi had 12, Jordan parks poured in 11, and Stefan Nikolic and Denzel Valentine scored 10 apiece. Alfonso Plummer led Manresa’s resistance with 21 points and 5 three-pointers, Grant Golden added 16, Alex Reyes provided 11 and Louis Olinde finished with 10 in the losing effort.
London Lions 68-72 Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse
Bourg battled to overcome London in a tense but entertaining contest at Copper Box Arena on Wednesday, 68-72. Bourg made the brighter start to open up an early lead, but found itself in foul trouble in the second quarter, which provided the Lions a chance to claw their way back level. As the teams split for halftime, Coach Frederic Fauthoux’s men led by just a single point.
The game went back and forth at the restart, with both teams refusing to give up. The hosts earned multiple leads in the third period, but failed to open up a substantial margin. Coach Tautvydas Sabonis’s charges kept chase until the very end, but it wasn’t to be. The visitors put on a professional display in the final moments and secured the 4-point victory.
Darius McGhee led the winners with 14 points and 6 assists. Both Gach scored 10 points of his own, while center Kevin Kokila combined 10 points with 6 boards. London lost despite Joel Scott’s strong performance; the forward added 7 rebounds and 4 assists to his 23 points. The result pushes table-topping Bourg to 7-1 for the EuroCup season. Meanwhile, the Lions slide to 3-5, drawing them level with NINERS Chemnitz on the brink of a qualification spot.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca 89-101 Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem
Jerusalem fended off a fierce second-half onslaught from Cluj to come out on top 89-101 and improve to 6-2, while the Romanian outfit dropped to 4-4 after wiping out a 19-point deficit only to fall short in a frantic climax.
Hapoel made a flying start and steamrolled into a 21-38 lead in the opening period, breaking the club record for points scored in a single quarter. The visitors shot 6-of-7 from downtown to silence the home crowd. Cluj regained some composure in the second, but Hapoel kept up the pressure and carved out a 43-58 advantage at halftime. In a rip-roaring third quarter, Cluj fired on all cylinders and turned the game on its head to take a 75-71 lead as Daron Russel hit top gear. Hapoel nosed in front 75-76 ahead of the final 10 minutes and the lead then changed hands several times in a see-saw fourth quarter before the Israeli side found an extra gear in the home straight.
Anthony Lamb paced Hapoel on 17 points, while Jared Harper and Cassius Winston chipped in with 16 apiece and Austin Wiley racked up 10 points to go with 11 boards for the visiting team. Mitch Creek led Cluj on a game-high 26 points, Saulius Kulvietis added 18 and Russel 15.
Neptunas Kleipeda 87-93 Aris Thessaloniki Betsson
Aris got back to winning ways by beating Neptunas 87-93 at Svyturio Arena on Tuesday evening. The hosts went 4-for-4 from deep to open the game and took a 28-21 lead into the second quarter, where they were outscored 18-29 by Aris, which secured a 46-50 cushion at halftime.
The Greek side held Neptunas to just 3 points in the first 7 minutes of the third quarter and went on a 0-16 surge to open a 49-66 lead. A late 9-0 run by Neptunas brought them within 87-90 with just a minute left on the clock, but Elijah Mitrou-Long drilled a clutch step-back triple to finish the game off. Aris improved its record to 4-4, with Neptunas dropping to 3-5.
Amine Noua paced Aris with 24, while Mitrou-Long and Bryce Jones netted 17 each. Rihards Lomazs led all scorers with a season-high 26 points, Arnas Velicka scored 13 and Harrison Cleary added 12.
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica 101-71 ratiopharm ulm
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica extended its winning streak to five games after rolling past slumping ratiopharm ulm 98-71 at home in Group B. After nine lead changes in the first 10 minutes, Buducnost surged ahead by 12 points midway through the second quarter. The hosts used the long ball for a 26-5 run to start the second half for a 30-point lead.
Buducnost, which improved to 6-2, was paced by Rasheed Sulaimon’s 19 points while Oleksandr Kovliar chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. Tobias Jensen collected 15 points and a career-high 11 assists in the loss. The defeat drops Ulm to 4-4 with three losses in the last four games.
Slask Wroclaw 99-91 Bahcesehir College Istanbul
Slask Wroclaw claimed a stunning 99-91 home win over Group A leader Bahcesehir College Istanbul at Hala Orbita on Tuesday to improve to 4-4. After a close first half, Slask took its first lead in the third quarter and, backed by effective three-point shooting and solid work on the boards, pulled away in the fourth to secure the victory.
Stefan Dordevic led Slask with 20 points and 4 rebounds and Noah Kirkwood added 21 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Kadre Gray contributed 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, and Ajdin Penava tallied 13 points for the winners. Caleb Homesley paced Bahcesehir with 20 points, followed by Malachi Flynn with 13 points, Trevion Williams added 12 points and 6 rebounds and Mateusz Ponitka scored 11.
Dolomiti Energia Trento 94-105 NINERS Chemnitz
NINERS Chemnitz scored a 105-94 road win at Dolomiti Energia Trento at the BTS Arena on Tuesday night. Both teams made a slow start in the first quarter, with Trento finishing on top by a point. Chemnitz pulled away in the second period however, led by Kevin Yebo and Corey Davis. As the teams split for halftime, Massimo Cancellieri’s team was up by 16.
NINERS widened the gap to 22 soon after the restart, but the home crowd saw its team fight back. Devante Jones and Andrej Jakimovski sank huge buckets to pull the hosts back into the contest, but it wasn’t enough. When all was said and done, Rodrigo Pastore’s team had earned the 11-point victory.
Kevin Yebo led the game in scoring with 33, while also picking up 8 boards and 3 assists. Spreading the offensive load effectively, five other Chemnitz players finished on double digit scoring. Jakimovski scored a career-high 30 points in defeat. The result moves both teams to 3-5 on the season.
