Both players are due to make their EuroCup debuts
Panionios bolsters roster with Keron DeShields, Kostas Gontikas

Panionios Cosmorama Travel announced on Monday that it has signed guard Keron DeShields and big man Kostas Gontikas for the remainder of the season.
DeShields (1.91 meters, 32 years old) brings experience from multiple leagues across Europe and beyond. He has suited up for teams in Italy, Hungary, Israel, Greece, Lithuania, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon as well as for the Syrian national team.
In his previous stint in Greece, DeShields finished the 2017-18 season with Rethymno Cretan Kings. He most recently suited up for Syria at the 2025 Asia Cup, where he averaged 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists over three games in August. The veteran guard is due to make his EuroCup debut with Panionios.
Gontikas (2.06 meters, 31 years old) is a Greek international who has spent his entire professional career in Greece, spare shorts stints in Romania and Iceland. He has suited up for Panathinaikos Athens, Apollon Patras, Ifaistos Limnou, Peristeri, AEK Athens, Ionikas Nikaias, AS Karditas, Kolossos and Lavrio.
